About
Sideline MN
Sideline MN gives every Minnesota high school team the full story of its season: every score, ranking, and bracket, free and updated every night.
High school sports in Minnesota run from Class 6A suburbs to 9-man fields up north, and most of those games never get covered. Sideline MN tracks all of them. We post every football and basketball result, rank every class, map every section and state bracket, and explain how the playoffs work, so a student, a parent, and a grandparent three hours away can follow the same team with the same facts. Every game. Every town.
What we cover
- Football: every class from 6A to 9-man, section brackets, the Class 6A state bracket, and Prep Bowl.
- Boys and girls basketball: scores, class rankings, and state tournament brackets.
- Power rankings for every class, built from game results (Elo), not polls.
- Recaps and Player of the Week.
12,365 games and 595 teams tracked so far.
How often it updates
Scores, rankings, and brackets rebuild every night. Results from a Friday game are on the site by Saturday morning. Brackets follow MSHSL pairings as they post.
